We are here to help parents raise happy and healthy children
Our top priority is to make parents and their children feel happy and secure during their time at our pre-school. Our team of dedicated Early Years practitioners create an environment that is safe and stimulating, freely encouraging the children to play, learn and develop.
Each child is cared for by a team of caring, well trained and experienced staff, suitably qualified and all having undergone a full Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check. The staff work together to benefit the children and are committed to on-going training thus ensuring the highest standards.

Who We Are
Over 25 years of nurturing
Aston Preschool was formed as Aston Playgroup in September 1983, and became Aston Preschool in September 1999 when closer links with Aston St Mary’s school were established.
As Aston Preschool is a registered charity it is overseen by a committee of volunteers who either currently have or have had children attend Aston Preschool. The committee can be emailed at committee@astonpreschool.co.uk
The committee will always welcome new volunteers and if you are interested in giving your time to help enrich the preschool then please do contact us.

Meet the teachers
Meet our dedicated team of Early Years professionals
Preschool Manager & SENCO
I qualified with my NNEB Nursery Nursing in 1994 and have continuously worked in the Early Years sector since then. I have been the Manager of Aston Preschool since 2017 and make it my priority to make sure parents and children feel happy and secure at the preschool.
Deputy & Key Person
I have over 23 years childcare experience and started at Aston Preschool in 2022. I took on the deputy role in 2024.
I enjoy watching the children learn and grow, ready to take on their next adventure.
I love spending quality time with my family on exciting holidays and keeping fit.
Key Person & SENCO
I have been employed at Aston Preschool as a key worker/SENCO since February 2025. Previous to this, I was living in Australia, where I worked as a Room Leader. I have been working in Early Years for over 20 years now. I am a passionate Early Years educator who loves supporting young children as they learn, grow, and discover the world around them. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my daughter and husband, going for walks and watching movies.
