ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

The criteria for being offered a place at Aston Pre-School are as follows:-

Priority given to children living in Aston.
Date of receipt of application.
Children with older siblings still attending Aston Pre-School at the same time as proposed sessions for younger siblings.

We are an equal opportunities Pre-School and therefore no child will be turned away on the grounds of gender, race or religion. We work in accordance with OFSTED, the Pre-School Learning Alliance and Children's Services guidance. We are a registered charity and as such are registered with and regulated by the Charities Commission.

Exceptions

We may be approached by Children's Services with a 'special requirement child'. In this case the management committee and staff reserve the right to accept the child in front of others on the waiting list, but only in exceptional circumstances.

We may also be required by Children's Services to accept children under the age of 2½ years; we have limited capacity to make such accommodations but can consider up to 4 such children.

FEES

Admin:

To enter your child onto our waiting list please download the APPLICATION FORM below and send it to the address at the bottom of the form. We ask for a £15 administration charge for this, which includes a pre school branded book bag.

Uniform:

Children are required to wear our school uniform. This consists of T-Shirt, Sweatshirt or Fleece. To purchase any or all the items please download the UNIFORM ORDER FORM Fill the required fields and print out. Pass the completed order form along with payment to a member of staff at the Pre-School.

Session Fees:

Session fees are reviewed at frequent intervals and any changes will be communicated through our normal channels.

We try wherever possible to give a terms’ notice of any changes. Session fees are invoiced at half-termly intervals and more information is available through our admissions policy.

Fees are £18 per session and are invoiced half termly (6 weeks). Payment plans can be arranged for those parents who need longer to pay. We accept 15 and 30 hour funding if your child is eligible.
